Daiquiri

The classic rum cocktail. Easy to make, simple but so so delicious. Ninefold Pure Single Rum shines in a daiquiri.

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml Ninefold Pure Single Rum

  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 22.5 ml 2:1 simple syrup (see below)

Method:
Shake all ingredients with ice and double strain into a chilled coupe glass.


Simple syrup

To make 2:1 simple syrup, combine by volume 2 parts sugar to 1 part water i.e. 500 ml granulated cane sugar dissolved in 250 ml water.

Heat the water over a moderate heat, and gradually add the sugar, stirring with a wooden spoon until all the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool, bottle and store in the fridge for up to 6 months.
